Introduction


VTC02 active safety smart device is developed for commercial vehicle application scenarios, based on advanced deep learning technology, combined with ADAS(Advanced Driving Assistance System) functions and DMS (Driver Monitoring System) functions, reduces the fleet Traffic accidents and provide safety guarantees.

The forward ADAS camera detects front vehicle potential collision risk, like vehicle too close or an unconscious vehicle lane departure or ahead pedestrians, the system reminds driver by voice to take timely measures; The internal view DMS camera can identify driver's fatigue driving, distracted driving, smoking, phone calls, overtime driving, and other abnormal driving behavior, it can verify driver identity through face recognition algorithm. When ADAS or DMS warning events are triggered, VTC02 can use the built-in 4G full Netcom module of the device to capture three pictures and upload video to the platform directly. Reducing traffic accidents rate, collecting pre-warning data to analyze drivers’ behavior deeply, improving fleets operational efficiency, reduces insurance companies' cost. ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System)

1.LDW (Lane departure Warning): Identify the lane line on the road ahead through the forward-looking camera and detect the lateral position of the vehicle in the current lane in real time. When it detects that the vehicle has deviated from the current lane, the system would make a sound warning to the driver so that can improve driving safety.

2.FCW (Forward collision warning): Identify the forward vehicles

through the forward-looking camera and detect the relative speed in real time. When it is detected that the vehicle is in danger of colliding with the forward vehicle, the system would make a sound warning to the driver so that can improve driving safety.

3.PCW (Pedestrian collision warning): Identify the forward pedestrians

through the forward-looking camera and detect the distance in real time. When it is detected that the pedestrians are in the same lane ahead, the system would make a sound warning to the driver so that can avoid the accident of pedestrian collision.

4.HW (Headway warning): Identify the forward vehicles through the

forward-looking camera and detect the relative distance in real time. When it is detected that the relative distance is less than the threshold, the system would make a sound warning to the driver so as to improve driving safety.

 

DMS (Driver Monitoring System)

1.Fatigue driving: When the terminal detects the driver is closing eyes, yawning, overtime driving or other behaviors, the device would make a fatigue driving sound warning.

2.Calling: When the driver is detected to answer the phone, the device would make a sound warning

3.Distraction: When the driver is detected not looking straight forward or bow his head, the device would make a sound warning.

4.Smoking: When the driver is detected smoking, the device would make a sound warning.

5.Lens blocking: When the camera video signal is detected to be normal but no facial features are detected, the device would make a sound warning

6.Infrared blocking sunglasses recognition: It can recognize if the drivers are wearing infrared blocking sunglasses in all working conditions, including but not limited to day, night, forward light, backlight, side light, shaded sunlight alternately flashing, vehicle vibration, etc.


BSD (Blind Spot Detection)

BSD system can detect vehicles, moving people and objects in the blind spot. When a vehicle approaches or an obstacle appears in the blind spot, the monitoring system reminds the driver by sound, to avoid accidents caused by the blind spot.



Vehicle Monitoring Functions

1.Real-time location query: check real-time vehicle status and report a current location.

2.Regular monitoring: The terminal can upload the location information to the platform automatically after the vehicle is fired according to the time set by the administrator.

3.Specified distance monitoring:when the vehicle travels to a specified distance, it will automatically report location information to the platform.

4.Over-speed alarm: After the vehicle exceeds the speed set by the administrator, the terminal will automatically report the over- speed alarm to the platform.

5.Fatigue driving alarm: When the driving time exceeds the time set by the administrator, the terminal will automatically report the fatigue driving warning to the platform.

6.In/out of the designated area alarm: Platform setting is required to support rectangular, circular and polygonal area alarms.

7.Route deviation alarm: Support route deviation prompt and alarm, sectional speed limit prompt and alarm, in/out of the designated area or route prompt and upload information, etc.

8.Video signal loss alarm: Support camera signal identification then the terminal will automatically report fault alarm to the platform.

9.Low voltage alarm: When the main power supply voltage of the active safety intelligent terminal is 24V, when it is lower than 18V, A battery lower voltage alarm will occur at the terminal; the main power supply is 12V. When it is lower than 9V, the terminal will bottle lower voltage alarm.

10.Location antenna disconnection alarm: When the antenna is not connected or the link is damaged, the terminal will give a voice prompt.
